GHRP-2 Dosing Protocol: Growth Hormone Research
Also known as: Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2, Pralmorelin
What is a Peptide?
A short chain of amino acids (2-50) linked by peptide bonds. Smaller than proteins. Your body produces thousands of peptides naturally as signaling molecules that regulate everything from appetite to healing. Therapeutic peptides mimic or enhance these natural signals.
Research reference only. GHRP-2 is not FDA approved for human use (unless specified above). This information does not constitute medical advice.
Overview
GHRP-2 is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing peptide that stimulates GH release from the pituitary. It is more selective than GHRP-6 with less appetite stimulation and is widely used in research and clinical settings.
Mechanisms of Action
- Binds to ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) in pituitary
- Stimulates pulsatile GH release
- Increases appetite less than GHRP-6
- May have some prolactin and cortisol stimulating effects at high doses
