ARA-290 Dosing Protocol: Neuropathic Pain Guide
Also known as: Cibinetide, Erythropoietin-derived peptide
What is a Peptide?
A short chain of amino acids (2-50) linked by peptide bonds. Smaller than proteins. Your body produces thousands of peptides naturally as signaling molecules that regulate everything from appetite to healing. Therapeutic peptides mimic or enhance these natural signals.
Research reference only. ARA-290 is not FDA approved for human use (unless specified above). This information does not constitute medical advice.
Overview
ARA-290 is a non-erythropoietic peptide derived from erythropoietin. It acts on the Innate Repair Receptor (IRR) to provide tissue protection and pain relief without stimulating red blood cell production.
Mechanisms of Action
- Binds Innate Repair Receptor (IRR) - EPOR/CD131 heterodimer
- Activates anti-inflammatory and tissue repair pathways
- Suppresses spinal microglia activation reducing neuropathic pain
- Improves insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism
